Our Nawakwa, Inc. is so excited to share that we have had a steady flow of rentals since our Grand Opening Celebration on May 5th! The month of May was booked solid, with EVERY weekend full and even a few rentals during the week!
We have had several Girl Scout troops enjoy camp throughout the month, the Ice Age Trail Alliance Crew Leads from across the state spent four days at camp conducting training sessions, and Altoona Student Council was our first non-Girl Scout youth group to come to camp for the weekend and they were such amazing guests!
One of the teachers who facilitated this group, Jessica Richards, sent an email after the event saying, “We had an amazing time! Everything was great! No complaints. We are thinking we for sure want to do this again next year. Thank you for everything!”
Her co-facilitator Emily Sibilski, also sent an email and shared, “We wanted to thank everyone again for the opportunity to stay at Camp Nawakwa this weekend. The kids had the best time – they haven’t stopped talking about it since!” Here are some photos they shared with us!
