Work Day at Camp!

So many have asked how to help Our Nawakwa achieve our mission of preserving camp and getting kids into nature…here is a chance to help and have a little fun, too!

Volunteers (ages 13 years old through adult) are invited to join our first official WORK DAY at Camp Nawakwa!

Please arrive at Nawakwa at 9:00am for an orientation to the day’s work. Lunch will be provided in the Dining Hall. Work ends at 3:00 with a few hours of time to enjoy Nawakwa. The waterfront will be open from 3:00-5:00 for all volunteers to enjoy!

Please bring work gloves, water bottle, bug repellant. Long pants, close-toed shoes and socks are recommended. Please leave your pets at home!

Much of the work will involve brushing around buildings and trails. You may bring your own loppers and pruners as they might work better than ours. If you are experienced with a chain saw and want to bring one, there will be some work as well. We do have carpentry and cleaning opportunities, too.
