Camp Host Information

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Camp Host at Camp Nawakwa! Our Nawakwa would not be able to achieve the mission of Connecting Kids to Nature at Camp without your support!

If you haven’t Hosted at Camp Nawakwa before, please take a minute to fill out this application and we will get in touch with you!

CAMP HOST APPLICATION

Once you are an approved Camp Host….please visit our Camp Host Calendar to see what dates are available for hosting!

The dates that say “CAMP HOST NEEDED” have Rentals booked and are in need of coverage. Once we have a camp host volunteer for those dates “CAMP HOST NEEDED” will be replaced with the Camp Host Name(s).

Feel free to sign up for ANY dates, however, you don’t only have to choose the ones that already have Rentals booked.

Please let us know how you will be staying at camp.

-For RVs: we do not have an official RV pad & hook-up area yet. Hosts will park their camper between the upper parking lot and the Vollhalla house. You are welcome to bring along an extension cord and plug into the electric from the house, however please note that it may not be powerful enough to run AC. You may also bring a long hose and hook up to the spicket on the house during warmer months, but please remember that there may not be adequate pressure. There is no sewer hook-up on-site.
-If you wish to stay in one of the buildings at Camp Nawakwa, please let us know and we will work with you to find accommodations that will suit your needs, while also not impeding rental spots.

Please add anything else you think we should know about your stay (will your spouse or partner be with you, do you have times you will be unavailable, do you have a furry-friend who normally travels with you, etc.)
