Nawakwa Reading Retreat

📅 Dates: Saturday, March 14th 2026 @ 11am-3pm

📍 Location: Cornell, WI & Camp Nawakwa

Escape to Camp Nawakwa for a day of reading and relaxation! Join other book lovers for a day of shared silence and literary connection at Camp Nawakwa. Bring your own books, a cozy blanket, and your sense of adventure. No chores, no screens… just you and your books!

This 75-acre forest sanctuary provides the ultimate backdrop for a day of uninterrupted reading.  

Optional activities include:
 Book swap: bring 1-3 books in good condition that you’re ready to part ways with. You’ll place them on a table upon arrival. Around noon the swap will begin! Browse the table of books and leave with the same number of books you came with.
Hike around picnic lake (weather permitting)
Coloring pages (great for relaxing while listening to an audiobook!)
Sap collection for the upcoming MapleFest!

Native Flower Seed Bombs with BCR

📅 Dates: Saturday, March 22nd 2026 @ 1pm-2:30pm

📍 Location: Cornell, WI & Camp Nawakwa

Come to Our Nawakwa and join a Beaver Creek naturalist in learning about pollinators and native plants!
We will be making seed bombs with native flower seeds to attract pollinators to our own yards.
Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to sign Our Nawakwa’s participant waiver.
All ages are welcome.
Adult must accompany children under 16 years old.
Cost: $13 Members and $17 Non-members.
Walk-ins will not be accepted
